AcuCort
The AcuCort business idea is to develop a rapid-onset, convenient, needle-free product for use in acute allergy and asthma and similar conditions. The technology platform is an oral rapid-release glucocorticoid designed to be administered outside of a hospital or other medical setting by one’s self or by non-medically trained people, and to a patient who is unconscious or otherwise unable to swallow. The disease focus is acute therapy and emergency situations, such as acute allergy and asthma, adrenal crisis, anaphylactic reactions and trauma.
Adenovir
Adenovir Pharma AB is developing a new treatment for epidemic keratoconjunctivitis (EKC), which is a serious viral eye infection. EKC is a highly contagious disease that can be found all over the world, but is more common in heavily populated countries in Asia. EKC is a disease where there is a lack of effective treatment and it represents a large unmet medical need. The goal is to develop a new antiviral medicinal product for the treatment of EKC.

DuoCort
DuoCort has developed an improved cortisol replacement therapy for patients with adrenal insufficiency, a rare disease for which DuoCort has orphan drug designations in Europe and the USA. DuoCort’s new chronotherapy drug has a physiological release profile that mimics the body’s natural secretion pattern of cortisol to improve outcomes for patients. Once-daily dose administration is key to delivering a consistent, physiological release profile and avoiding the highs, lows and inconsistencies that result with current therapy.

Laccure
Laccure is developing a new product for the treatment of bacterial vaginosis, the most common type of gynaecological infection, for which there is a large unmet medical need and a large market. Laccure’s innovation is based on a chemical modification of lactic acid resulting in lactic acid release over an extended period of time. Results from a recently performed survey show that women prefer a user friendly, prescription free and long lasting product. There is no such product on the market today! Laccure’s aim is to develop such a product.

LIDDS
LIDDS AB is developing and will commercialize innovative products, based on the proprietary drug delivery technology. The primary aim is to satisfy the unmet needs for improved treatment of certain forms of cancer.
LIDDS management, the Board of Directors and PULS, have a significant competence in clinical and pharmaceutical development. In addition there is a long industry experience that supports a comprehensive and focused development.
